Today we took a picture of our eye. Make sure you use the macro setting on your camera and be sure there is no flash. Saved the eye picture to your Assignment Folder.
We finished working on our Creepy Scary Self. This assignment is due Oct 31. Be sure to do the following: 1. You will print an 8X10 on the color printer, be sure to Brighter your picture before you print. (Remember the print comes out darker than what you see on your screen). 2. Write your name and period on the front of picture. 3. Get some tape by where you normally turn in your work and put one piece on the back and tape it to the black board to the left of my classroom. Be sure to line them up in a row. 4. Load all 4 of your pictures pictures on your website under the Assignment Tab. Be sure to have the one of you loaded last. Photography Assignment
Your new picture taking assignment is: Take 10 pictures with the theme "The World Would Be a Better Place If".... Examples: Everyone was kind to each other, There was no garage You must have 10 different pictures with this theme? Today we learned about the Clone Tool and the Spot Healing Tool We also finished our collages and printed them as an 8X10 If you have finished all your assignments be sure to put them in your Portfolio. Go to the calendar and work on the assignment "Creepy Scary Self" Today we finished working on our Bird's Eye, Worm's Eye, and Leading Lines picture. Every picture needs to have been adjusted with a mask and possibly some other type of adjustment.
Post the before and after picture on your website in your Assignments Tab. Then pull all 3 up in PhotoShop and raise your hand for my approval before you print. Then print all 3 and put them in your Portfolio Binder. Turn them in on my small file cabinet by my desk. Make sure you change the size to 5X7 or as close to that as you can get it, before you print. DO NOT PRINT THE BEFORE! Once you have complete that you will need to go to digitalartanddesign.org Click on the the PhotoShop Tab and go to tutorial #33 FILTERS AND PORTRAITS. Use one of your selfies to do this assignment. Post it on your website when finished. Today you will read and summarize the following article on your Blog page. We talked about Shutter Speed and F/stops. Today we went through the Photography assignment. The link to the requirements can be found in the assignment tab.
We also talked about the Rubric for this assignment. We changed our home page on our websites and finished our tutorial for layering mask. Be sure to We watched 3 tutorials that taught us how to use Layers and Masks. These are posted under the assignment tab.
Today I was not in school. But students continued to work on the tutorial for Eroding. The link for this assignment is here. Remember once you have done the tutorial you will need to do with your name and then pick other word to use as well. Post all 3 words on your website.
Today we started a tutorial learning how to create cool effects on words. This is a tough tutorial so be sure to read the instructions carefully. Be sure to ask your neighbor or Mrs. Moore if you don't understand something.
