Photo Strip Assignment
Link to the video tutorial
Be sure to watch the tutorial. You will need to create 3 different photo strip. They can all have the same pictures.
This is what you will need each photo strip to be:
1. Color Photo Strip
2. Black and White Photo Strip with no blur
3. Black and White Photo Strip with the both blurs that he shows you in the tutorial
All of these will be put on one document and printed.
Once you have printed your photo strips you will need to finish the tutorial and past the curved Photo Strip on your website.

New Picture Taking Assignment
You have a new picture taking assignment....The assignment is called "My Town, Your Town"
You will need to take 20 pictures of your town. That can be anything in your town. If you are taking a trip over the weekend you will not be able to work on this assignment until you get back. No two pictures can be the same thing. That means no one can be in more than 1 of your pictures. All the cities in Washington County have unique things in them. Try and think outside the box. See if you can take pictures that no one else would think to take. Make sure they tell a story, their are in focus, and you have used the Rule of Thirds. Any blurry pictures will receive zero credit with no redo.
Due Date: April 29, 2014

iPod Silhouette Project
In order to complete this assignment you will need to complete 2 different tutorials. Keep in mind there are lots of tutorials out there that show you how to make a silhouette. I have linked one here, but I would recommend you use the quick selection tool. You can use the one you are comfortable with.
The thing to remember is you will want your final project to look like the ones on my wall or in the document below. You need to make your pictures into a silhouettes before you start the second half of the assignment. Last but not least, you need to be sure to use a gradient background.

Today you will print your 5 people pictures or portraits. Be sure to change your contact sheet to 2X3.
Once you have printed your contact sheet be sure to turn it in the stack tray.
Use your people pictures to complete the tutorials below. If you do not have a someone smiling showing teeth use one of your pictures from your student roster. Be sure to post a before and after picture of each of these tutorials and name them the following:
1. Teeth Whitening
2. Quick B/W Conversion
3. Adjusting Color
4. Professional Portrat
Please note, I expect you to also make adjustment to your pictures that you have learned previously. Imagine that you are giving your final picture to your client that is going to pay you for your portrait (grade).
