Today we finished our bookmarks and shared them with Mrs. Moore.  We also took our Typography quiz.
Next time we will be talking about Planning a Publication and the meaning of color.

Today we talked more about brushes and learned that less is More.  Try not to fill every bit of white space with words or color.  We also talked about opacity, dissolve, and Hue and Sat.  Remember that you must do 2 bookmarks.  One will be using cool colors and the other warm colors.  You have to use color combinations from color

Today we started our bookmark. The measurement for the bookmark is 8X2.  You can only use 2 different fonts, colors that are from www.colorschemedesigner.com, and you may only use 1 graphic.  Try using brushes and be sure that your saying on your bookmark makes the reader want to turn over the bookmark and read it.

Today you need to email me your business card, letter head, and sheet of paper with a design made by brushes.

Today we finished our Football Tailgate Party Posters. You needed to save them as a PDF and send them to my email address.
Tuesday we will finish our ransom notes and analyze business cards.

Today we were going to finish our ransom notes but we were asked to create a poster for Pine View's tailgate party for our homecoming game. 
We started working in Photoshop and struggled to learn basic skills but we will continue to learn tools.
The poster is due Thursday.  The size was 11X17 but we will need to change it to 8.5X11.

Today we created a ransom note using Typography.  You need to create a note,you need to use typography out of magazines to write your message, paste them on cardstock, and label each of the 20 items required for this assignment.
